Nickelodeon Creative Summit Week
Wow! This was an amazing week! Full of successes, happiness, lessons, and it was so humbling!
The Creative Summit with Nickelodeon took place yesterday and today (4/29/10 - 4/30/10)!
This whole experience was the most amazing opportunity a writer, no matter what kind, can have and I was so blessed to get it! We got to be in a room with two top, over the top/fun, executives of Nickelodeon! How awesomazing is that, right?
They taught us EVERYTHING there is to know about writing, analyzing and understanding a script for TV, animation and film! (Literally, they spoiled every movie and TV show for us, in a good way!!!) Now we're gonna be able to understand how a show gets made and what is behind that show getting made!
We had an amazing opportunity for networking, because us 60 were everything from professors, librarians, animators to musicians, actors, singers, producers, directors, writers (of course!), and so many other things that it was such an amazing blessing to know that there are so many talented people in my area of interest!
The two executives (Karen Kirkland and Rich Magallanes) were amazing, friendly from day one, HELPFUL, resourcefull in any possible way and HUMBLING! They were our friends for these two days! Like our BFF's, so happy, upbeat, funny!!!!
Overall, this was an amazing experience and blessing!!!! An opportunity every writer would want and no writer would pass up! I got it!!!! I did it!!!! It was amazing!!!! I would try it again sometime, anytime, no matter what!!!

DO WHAT YOU ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT! DECIDE TO DO IT AND JUST DO IT! DON'T CARE ABOUT WHAT OTHERS THINK!!!!
Follow that advice I'm doing it! It worked them, why wouldn't it work for me and you?
