Summer (and all year-round) hot-spots in Puerto Rico.

Continuing with my series of summer blogs, (Beach Beauty & Summer Playlist), I'm going to present you some the Puerto Rican summer hot-spots I'm visiting during my two-week vacation with the family. Either you live in Puerto Rico or want to come visit, you can go to this, breathtaking, places my country has to offer!

Located at the west of our beautiful island is the Mayagüez Zoo. With the oldest elephant, Mundi, a jiraffe and many other species you are sure to have a wonderful safari experience.

Moving along to the south, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, lives the home of some of the oldest richest people in the island, better known as Castillo Serrallés, home to the Disney Channel Original Movie Princess Protection Program. Alongside the castle are La Cruzeta del Vigia and the Japanese Gardens. Ponce is also the home of many different types of museums worth visiting.

Going over to the north part of the island, in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, we find El Parque de las Ciencias. This park has every scientifical thing in this world and more, much, much more.

Moving to the capital of the island, San Juan, Puerto Rico, we find the first ecological park, Punto Verde, destinated to teach kids and adults the importance of recycling and conservating our environment in a fun way! (Take your bathing suit!)

Also in San Juan, in the Old San Juan, we find the, truly endearing, Museo del Niño. There is just one rule in this museum, no matter how old you are, you HAVE to touch everything! How cool is that? I can't wait to go back!

This are some of the places that I'm visiting this summer. Of course we have places like: El Yunque Rainforest, the Arecibo Observatory, restaurants and many, many beaches! Make sure you have either a tourist guide or a map and you're sure to have a LOT of fun!!! My favorite places are: Parque de las Ciencias and Museo del Niño! In this two places I feel like a child again!!! :)

This year, Puerto Rico is host the Juegos Centroamericanos & del Caribe, so we are visiting the swimming competitions! Nothing more fun than being host and going to a competition!

Grab a map, water, and you're beach tote and start exploring the wonders Puerto Rico has to offer! See you soon! I'm about to have the best vacation ever after the vacation I had on 2008! :)
